Anna: What does that sign mean?
Me: It has a picture of a deer on it. It means that we need to watch out for deer.
Anna: Sometimes deer fly.
Me: Honey, deer don't fly.
Anna: The ones that pull Santa's sleigh - they can fly.
Me: Uh, yes. But those are REINdeer.
Anna: Reindeer can fly?
Me: Only some reindeer can fly.
Anna: Which reindeer can fly?
Me: Only Santa's reindeer can fly.
Anna: Why?
Me: [inward cringe] Because they're magic.
Anna: My sunglasses are magic too.
Me: Yes! Yes they are, honey.
